According to Trump, a "complete ceasefire on all fronts" is expected

As he urged "everyone in the Middle East" to keep their promises, President Donald Trump stated on Thursday that the United States anticipates a "complete ceasefire on all fronts."

Trump posted on Truth Social, "The United States is committed to PEACE, and we encourage everyone in the Middle East Region to maintain their commitment to allowing our negotiations to beautifully unfold."

"We anticipate a full ceasefire on all fronts, including Israel, Hezbollah, and Lebanon," he continued.

Iran and the United States struck an initial agreement that initiates a 60-day period of negotiations for a final agreement.

"The immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon" is demanded in the memorandum of understanding.

However, Israel has reaffirmed its resolve to stay in Lebanon.
